JV-260: Temporary Restraining Order Against a Child (CLETS—TJC)

This form is used to issue an emergency restraining order that protects a child from abuse, neglect, or threats and immediately enters the order into the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (CLETS) database so police can enforce it. Courts, child protective services, and law enforcement use this form to quickly stop dangerous behavior toward a child when there is immediate risk of harm.
